Youth breakout hosted by Chet Manchester explores with youth, qualities they want to experience in their church community and provides the opportunity for them to build an inclusive church.

Youth breakout hosted by Chet Manchester. Produced as a part of the Northern California Church Alive Summit, held in Sacramento May 3-5, 2013. This is an activity for members and friends of the Christian Science church community.

What would a successful church experience look like in this day and age?

On October 31, 2013, Gabriel, Carrie, George, Anna Lisa and Aaron met at Anna Lisa’s house in Orinda and enjoyed a lunch of home-made chicken soup. We discussed the current state of the Christian Science church body, and what could be a possible new direction that might be successful in terms of addressing the need for new shoots, new growth, new ideas and engaging with young and young thinking people.

This Project aims to find some answers to that question.
